WHY: Public hearings on - Bill 48 (2021) CD1 Relating to underground storage tanks (to protect the purity of O‘ahu’s groundwater; Bill 41 (2021) CD1 relating to short-term vacation rentals and creating funding sources for enforcement.

Many other relevant matters are also on the agenda. The public is invited to submit written testimony on measures before the Honolulu City Council, here. People can also register to submit remote oral testimony remotely by visiting Zoom.us, clicking “Join Meeting,” and entering ID 99131280776. From there, they will be able to complete the registration process. People are strongly encouraged to register at least 24 hours before the start of the meeting. They will receive an email containing links and information on joining the meeting by either videoconference or phone.
