Councilmember Elefante to appear at SBA’s Restaurant Revitalization Fund info briefing
HONOLULU, HAWAI‘I – Honolulu City Councilmember Brandon Elefante will participate in the Restaurant Revitalization Fund informational meeting, staged by the U.S. Small Business Administration Hawai‘i District Office, tomorrow afternoon.
“It is well known that every community around O‘ahu has restaurants that have been closed or whose operations were severely curtailed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Those impacts have affected not just the restaurants, but the employees, suppliers and their employees and more. The ripple effect throughout our neighborhoods makes programs like this U.S. Small Business Administration Informational Briefing on the Restaurant Revitalization Fund Grant, crucial for the recovery of our residents, our communities and our broader economy,” said Honolulu City Councilmember Brandon Elefante.
The briefing will be offered Thursday from 2:30 to 4 p.m. online, as well as in-person at the Aiea Elementary School cafeteria. Attendance and registration is free. Seating at Aiea Elementary School is limited and registration is required for seating.
Please see the attached flyer for registration details for both the virtual and in-person sessions. To accommodate Hawai‘i’s diverse, multicultural business community, the online briefing will be available in 17 languages.
Honolulu City Council member Brandon Elefante represents District 8, which includes Lower ʻAiea, Pearlridge, Waimalu, Newtown, Pearl City, Seaview, Crestview, Waipiʻo Gentry and Waipahu. He also serves as chair of the Council Committee on Zoning and Planning.
