VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Councilmember Augie Tulba was first elected to the Honolulu City Council in November 2020 and then re-elected in August 2024.
Humble beginnings in public housing in Kalihi shaped Councilmember Augie Tulba’s work ethic and continue to inspire his commitment to his community. Public service is one of his passions. He worked in the administrations of Hawai‘i County Mayor Billy Kenoi and Lieutenant Governor Shan Tsutsui, where he led youth outreach initiatives around Hawai‘i Island and statewide. For over three decades, Augie Tulba has been at the core of local comedy, performing stand-up comedy for audiences in Hawai‘i and across the United States. He has participated in countless events and fundraisers for non-profit organizations across the state. Augie is a proud 1986 graduate of Farrington High School. Go Govs!
